ETITC ISB: Have Your Say on the Future of Work-Based Learning

ETITC ISB: Have Your Say on the Future of Work-Based Learning

The Electrotechnology, Information Technology and Creative Industry Skills Board (ETITC ISB) is inviting employers, industry associations, peak bodies and industry representatives to help shape the future of work-based learning across Aotearoa New Zealand.

The feedback will contribute to work being undertaken by the Tertiary Education Commission to understand how future work-based learning should be delivered across New Zealand. This includes apprenticeships, traineeships, industry training, micro-credentials and nationally recognised qualifications.

Whether your sector already has established work-based learning pathways or you see opportunities to develop them in the future, your input is encouraged.

The survey closes on Sunday 19 July 2026.

If you would prefer to share your views in person, ETITC ISB is also offering 45-minute interviews. Requests for interviews should be made by Thursday 2 July 2026.
