A creative campus which opened only seven years ago in the heart of Wellington is being emptied out of students and is seeking someone to take over the lease of its space.

Te Auaha, established in Dixon Street in 2018 by Whitireia and WelTec, became a central hub for arts education and performance and was designed to foster innovation, performance, and artistic excellence.

But Whitireia and WelTec no longer have the money to lease the building which was designed for them…
